Premier Fruits Limited was started in 1997 with Directors coming from back grounds in food production, manufacturing & catering. Today the company is headed by Ian Bentley and a dedicated team that have many years’ experience in the industry.
In 2014, the company relocated from Heywood to a purpose built facility in Farnworth, Bolton. All our production rooms are chilled and we have just built a new goods in storage facility adjoined to the main building.
We have installed some heavy machinery for processing fruit for National restaurant contracts. We don’t supply end users just wholesalers, caterers and distributors throughout the UK. We run our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles 7 days a week on a national service.
Over the years our products have become more of a breakfast item than a desert. As chefs develop their menus we get involved with trialling new mixes, this enables us to keep up with trends and work with some of the country’s top chefs.
We produce daily: freshly squeezed juices, Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon & Lime. We pack in: 1lt, 2lt & 2.27lt bottles.
Bespoke products are our speciality as we maintain the accuracy of the mixes using an accumulated weighing system. This allows chefs to have the confidence that once the product is signed off, it won’t change.
Today, the company has developed its cutting skills to produce both standard and bespoke products to give a chef cut quality offering groups consistency of products throughout their establishments.
We are very proud to serve some of the country’s best hotel, restaurant and stadia.
As well as producing individual bespoke items, we also produce large production runs of prepared fruit for the mass market.
We have the facility to pack in tamper evident plastic pails or to heat seal bag items.
We operate to the BRC Global Standard of Food and hold an ‘AA’ grade. We are very committed to the Standard as it offers our customers reliability & safety. We also go above & beyond with in-house 3M swab sampling system & chlorine foam cleansing.
